The quality of our transcriptionists is critical to our organisation's success and we take the selection & training of our team very seriously.  The criteria we use to assess applicants is as follows:

• Do they have experience in acute care?
• Do they display a high standard of accuracy?
• Do they understand the importance of consistency and confidentiality?
• Are they versatile and reliable?
• Is English their first language?
• Do they have a resume that features high educational standards?
• Are they competent in both UK/Commonwealth and US English grammar and spelling?
• Is there a desire to please?
• Do they have previous transcription experience or have the ability to acquire the skills through training?
